Here we were able to slow down the shutter speed and create movement with light. By getting torches we were able to lengthen the shutter speed and while the picture was in the process of being taken we were able to move the source of light making some sort of pattern. setting the shutter sppeed to about 5 seconds we had enough time to draw something in the air with a torch.
Here we were able to adjust the intensity of lighting and creating softer and sharper, shadows and no shadows. Using light in all directions we were able to create minimal amount of shadows. Making the light hit the ceiling gives the photograph a much more softer effect. A light hitting one side of the props makes a shadow effect.
I chose this photo since it turned out quite different than i excepted. In this picture the light has almost bled and forms a circular shape but the light is spreading out slowly. The colour a bright white in the middle and slowly spreading out slowly. The eye immediately is caught in the middle of the photo. Other things I like about this piece are it's simplicity and how it is so simple and interesting. Overall I am pleased with this picture because I feel as if we caught the light at the right moment of time for the light to be spread out the way it is. If I got to do this again i would change the background and make it darker.
For this picture I used a slow shutter speed to capture the movement of light. I chose this photo because it is interesting on how the two figures have made the light in spirals and the the figures are faded yet the light is not. In this photo I find the light to be in an interesting shape as there are two spirals together going round each other. I also quite like the way the white and red stand out with each other. Another thing I like about this photo is how the figure fades out but still is quite visible in the middle. The light being brighter than the transparent figure. If i spent more time on this photo I would make the white light appear now. Overall I am pleased with this since it turned out quite well and turned into an interesting piece.
From the studio set up pictures i chose this photo because I quite like the the light is angled towards the all white props. There is one half that is put into bright light and the other half is in shadow. Other things I like about this piece are that the shadow contrasts the white. Overall I am pleased with this work because it shows one variation of how things could change with the changes of lighting. If I did this again I would possibly take the picture in a different angle to be able to capture all the props and see how the lighting would effect all the props.
